Students with Accommodations

PEAK Academy accepts the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA). If your child is eligible and you choose to enroll at PEAK Academy, please note that private school students do not have an individual right to receive all services provided through IDEA, as they would in public schools.

PEAK Academy offers reasonable accommodations for students with diagnosed learning differences when proper documentation is provided by a licensed medical doctor, psychiatrist, or psychologist. While we do not implement public school IEPs or 504 Plans, we develop a PEAK Academy Student Support Plan to guide accommodations in the classroom.

While our staff is highly trained to support the needs of gifted learners, PEAK Academy does not modify curriculum content. We are not equipped with the personnel or resources to support students who require intensive interventions or significant modifications.

Examples of accommodations we may offer include:

  • Extended time on classroom tests and assignments

  • Preferential seating or reduced-distraction environments

  • Small group settings to support focus and comfort

Please note: Accommodations for standardized tests (such as the SAT, ACT, PSAT, or AP Exams) must be applied for directly through the College Board or ACT and cannot be granted by the school.
